D3 was such an amazing home to stay in. Everything we needed was readily available and more, we didn't need to call the host for anything. A beautiful space to enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Super spot. Very central and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Super clean and the washing machine and tumble dryer were a bonus. Thanks too for including swim towels - very unusual and so helpful. All in all we couldn't have asked for more.

Jack's place is situated in the heart of Umhlanga rocks and you can easily reach all the shops and restaurants via a brisk walk along the picturesque promenade or Lagoon drive (if you're in a rush!). We were fortunate to have amazing weather during our stay and utilised the braai facilities one evening, which made our work trip feel like a holiday. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean, and the ever-present sound of the ocean in the background will ensure you drift away to dreamland in no time. We strolled down to the beach every morning during sunrise to have a swim before commencing with work for the day. I suggest you reserve this unit...before somebody else does.

Alles was in goeie werkende toestand. Enigste klagte was die klein bad in die hoofslaapkamer. Kombuis was goed toegerus en die ontvangs was baie vriendelik en profesioneel.

We (2 adults and 2 children ) absolutely loved this place, we couldn't believe how awesome it was on our first walkthrough the house. Beach is easily accessible through private entrance. Within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great value for money, highly recommend.

I booked for my parents and other family members. They absolutely loved the house. I had to go and see it for myself. The location is awesome, close to lots of shops and restaurants; the house itself is spotlessly beautiful! It's fully equipped and is incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be booking for myself in the near future! The response and service from management was extremely commendable. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the place! Thanks again for treating my family so well :-)

The place was just fantastic! Spacious, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Close to place where we could get something to eat and to the beach. Staff was great very helpful and really kind! Best place we stayed in SA!

This was our second visit with family. This time we brought 2 junior members of the family and they loved running around as the property is very spacious. The house is very well maintained with high spec appliances so everything works well and doesn't make noise....everything is there!! Just bring your suitcase, groceries and beers...! We returned as it is ideally situated near the beach, the shopping malls, nice places to eat, and a short drive from Durban city centre so we took in Durban city centre sights and beaches as well. The owners were absolutely fantastic and gave us a very warm welcome after a long drive from Joburg, and the staff that looked after the house and garden were superb. The property is in a very secure complex so we could relax on the verandah late in the evenings feeling safe. We will be going back at the end of the year. Thanks to Hermann and Jack for a great welcome and checking on us whilst we were there.

From the beginning, we knew our stay at D3 Sea Lodge was going to be something special. Our booking was handled promptly and professionally, by the very helpful and friendly booking consultants. All of our queries and requests were dealt with immediately. It is not everyday that you come across such helpful people! The accommodation absolutely blew our minds, from the tasteful decoration, awesomely comfortable beds, a kitchen with every utensil you can think of... even beach towels in each room were provided. The attention to detail and pride taken in this accommodation is something to be proud of. The unit is on the famous Umhlanga promenade, and the main beach is directly in front of the complex, so it was a pleasure popping down to the beach each day, and going for a nice morning walk along the beach path. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and were heart sore when it came time to pack our bags and leave. I would definitely, 1000% recommend this accommodation to anyone who enjoys the good things in life, and is looking for a luxurious stay in Umhlanga.

We loved everything about D3 Sea Lodge. We were welcomed on arrival and shown around and found the apartment to have everything we needed and more. The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the beach which was great for all of us, including the grandchildren. The setting is quiet and secluded and the outside area lovely. We could not fault this property in any way. Highly recommended!

Stunning decor, very modern and serene. Situated in the perfect location, just a short drive away from the mall, and a short little walk takes you right onto the beach. The apartment is spacious with quite a large living room area. Another big plus for me was the washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer in the apartment.

"We were two couples and my mother, stayed there in 9 nights. Everything was just perfect! We enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. Very quiet and safe area, private parking and garage. The staff was very nice, answered all my questions prior to arrival. Close to restaurants, and shopping. I have definitely stayed there again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, GOOD VALUE ACCOMMODATION!!"
